Hotly-tipped UK rapper Piers James is set to release ‘The Era’ – the second track from his soon-to- be-released ‘Vibes & Tribulations’ EP – on the 19 th August. With UK rap music now at the forefront of mainstream culture, Piers James looks set to cement his place among the very top of the scene, thanks to his authentic Hip Hop beats and confident lyrical prose, as evidenced by new track ‘The Era’. At odds with much of the recent UK grime scene and US trap music, the music of Piers James is very much in thrall to the US classics of the 90’s, recalling the greats such as A Tribe Called Quest and Wu-Tang Clan.

His new EP ‘Vibes & Tribulations’ is set to be released next month (02nd September) and follows on from his previous releases ‘B.A.T.A Vol 2‘ and ‘Green Screens In Visible View‘ that garnered support from the likes of SBTV, The 405 and Complex, whilst at the beginning of the summer he supported Ghostface Killah at the Royal Festival Hall and most recently played Liverpool international Film Festival.
