Shao Dow is back with a radio and club-friendly single ‘Accent’ featuring McLean (who’s ‘My Name‘ single charted top 10). Accent debuted on Charlie Sloth’s BBC 1xtra show, and Shao Dow also performed on ‘Fire in the Booth‘, the video of which was shared by Link Up, SBTV & BBC 1xtra.

Accent is the 5th single from Shao Dow’s 3rd album ‘シャウ道。The Way Of Shao‘ (out Nov 2016) which features include Papoose, Krizz Kaliko (Tech N9ne and Strange Music), McLean, Dot Rotten, Genesis Elijah, Durrty Goodz and Serocee. The 13th Nov album launch night is set to be a big event!

Shao is the one of the only independent rappers fully making a living out of selling physical singles/albums and merchandise. A hardworking business man – he learned his discipline & hard work ethic from studying Kung Fu in China when he was just a teenager. Since coming back to the UK, Shao Dow completed a law degree and now commits his life to making music, selling 23k physical albums and performing with Tech N9ne, The Pharcyde, Stomzy, Skepta, Wiley, Ghetts, Devlin, Akala and at Reading & Leeds festival. It is no wonder he was nominated for Hardest Working Artist in this year’s AIM Awards!

Shao Dow’s last single ‘Till The Casket Drops‘ featuring Serocee, Durrty Goodz, AC & Papoose was added to the BBC Introducing Playlist and played heavily on BBC 1xtra and Kerrang Radio, and ShaoDow has confirmed appearances on 6 Music’s Tom Robinson show as well as various others.
