JMC (Island Records) is a man who knows how to make a club and radio smash. ‘Sturridge Dance’ (playlisted on Radio1/1Xtra/Capital Xtra) and ‘Look Like’, featuring Jadakiss, Charlie Sloth & Stormzy, (heavy BBC/Kiss rotation since October 2014) were merely warm ups to 2015’s summer banger ‘Wonderland’which promises to be played in every holiday resort & club across the UK.
Aside from his impressive radio history, JMC has received support on GQ Magazine, JD Sports, BBC News, Daily Mirror, Noisy, The Sun and across social media. ‘Look Like’ was the flagship single for the Charlie Sloth compilation released by Virgin in December 2014. JMC has supported Rick Ross, Fabolous and many other platinum selling acts for their London shows and performed at music festivals in Ayia Napa and Barcelona.
Hackney-born and bred rapper/producer/studio boss and radio airplay regular JMC has been honing his skills and building his rep over the last few years releasing his autobiographical debut album ‘Safecracker’ based the realities of his upbringing in East London and working with the likes of major US artists Cassidy, Styles P, Sheek Louch as well as Jamaican superstar Sizzla.
Working out of his own Shoreditch based Vault Studios which he has developed into one of London’s most in-demand recording locations, JMC has worked with artists including 112, ATL, Remy Ma, Tony Matterhorn, Sincere and Bashy.
