Corleone has teamed up with P Money, Big Narstie and Sleeks (Section Boyz) for the remix of Fake Rappers, a track which originally premiered on Charlie Sloths BBC Radio 1Xtra show and amassed over 100, 000 views online.

The remix will be available on iTunes on 30th October 2015 alongside a special Fake Rappers EP package with more special guests.

In just over a year, Corleone of GB Records London successfully positioned himself as the next star to surface from south London in the UK underground rap scene.

Growing up surrounded by the sounds of jungle and Hip Hop, Corleone always had a passion for music. Inspired by his elder brothers with one being a Hip Hop DJ turned scratch artist and the other a Jungle DJ; young Corleone began to write his own jungle bars in primary school.

Corleone got his first taste of the game featuring on various projects including Don Strapzy’s (now known as Dru Blu) ‘Out the Blue’ Remix alongside UK rappers, Fekky, Carnage and Jack Jones in July 2012 and Fekky’s ‘My Way’ taken from his debut mixtape ‘Come On Den’ released the following September.

In 2014, his debut single ‘Poor Little Rich Kid’ featuring Snap Capone created an online storm amassing over 704,000 YouTube views after its premiere on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s rap show with Charlie Sloth.

His recognisable sound and bullet-punch metaphors left an indelible mark and after Channel AKA picked up the GB torch, airing the video throughout the summer, Corleone became a household name on the rap circuit. He went on to release his second single ‘Trap God’ featuring Young Teflon and Blade Brown, which took the streets by storm gaining over 630,000 YouTube views.

Within a year Corleone had not only proven he could set a precedence for high caliber artistry within UK Rap, but that he could bring the UK Rap scene together as one, cue the release of his debut mixtape ‘The Godfather’. The tape featured UK Rap heavyweights including Sneakbo, Blade Brown, Youngs Teflon, Kyze, Section Boyz, Snap Capone, Young Spray, Desperado, Colours Miyage, Big Chess, C Biz and the full GB Records family.

The 17-Track debut produced undeniable bangers ‘Affiliated’ and ‘Trap God’ and reached number four in the Hip Hop/Rap Charts on iTunes and 147 in the Official Charts. With high demand from his fans, Corleone elected DVS, C Biz, Snap Capone and J Spades to jump on the Trap God Remix (Now 451,000 views deep).

The buzz both on air and on the streets didn’t stop there with veteran Tim Westwood requesting his lyrical skills for his reputable Crib Session Freestyle series later that year, which he smashed alongside the rest of GB Records artists. GRM Daily then let a Corleone Daily Duppy loose on the public, one that’s been recognised by many to be the best so far.

With nods in all of the right places, it wasn’t long before more BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ’s were knocking on the door with Sian Anderson inviting him into #SiansStudio for an interview and freestyle.
