Cashtastic returns with new music video and free download for his latest release ‘From Long Time’. The young MC releases this new music whilst recording for a new mixtape, set for release in 2016 entitled ‘UKBA (Understanding Knowledge Brings Answers)’.

“From Long Time is taken from my new unreleased mixtape UKBA. The song was produced, written and recorded by me on a energetic night in Jamaica. The concept arrived after a conversation I had with an elderly man; we we’re talking about the music that was released in his younger days compared to the music being released in 2015, I asked him if he likes Jay-Z’s music, and to my surprise he told me that he has never heard of him, then he asked me if he is a new artist. At that moment I realised that no matter how successful you are at what you do, you’re always the new guy to a new consumer, there’s always a new fan to obtain. A lot of artists who are seen to have gained over night success have probably been working towards that success From Long Time”. – Cashtastic.

2011 proved to be a breakthrough year for Cashtastic, a year which included an impressive ‘Fire In The Booth’ for DJ Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1Xtra, an appearance at Wireless Festival and the release of his debut mixtape ‘A Lil Bit of Cash’. A collaboration with Wiley on ‘Only Human’ for Wiley’s album ‘Evolve or be Extinct’ followed, and a collaboration with Krept & Konan was play-listed on BBC Radio 1. Cash signed with Universal Publishing in 2012 and to 3 Beat in 2014.

Cash is currently based in Kingston, Jamaica, having been out there since 2014.
