Following the success of his previous hit Muad featuring D Double E, Capo Lee continues to trail blaze through the scene as he drops the dark visual for the official remix of his 2015 anthem Liff – which saw him dominate the airwaves for weeks – featuring lyrical veterans P Money, Footsie and Prez T.
Set in an inner city estate, the caliginous visual sees the punch line heavyweights go back to back with their unbeatable bars, over the infamous Mystry produced beat, serving enough bass to get heads bopping. Supporters include the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra’s MistaJam, who has already given the instant hit his stamp of approval on his weekly show. Initially released in the summer of last year, the original hit went viral, gaining support from BBC 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Radar Radio and more; quickly positioning Capo Lee is the next star to rise from the thriving grime scene.
Having already kicked off things on a strong start, rapidly progressing to be grime’s ‘one to watch’, there is no doubt that 2016 is going to be a promising year for North London’s Capo Lee. His distinct flow and undeniable work ethic has seen him dominate show line ups across the country, with D Double E, P Money, Spooky, Prez T and Spyro making up the list of recent collaborations that have seen him earn his stripes as the go to guy for instant hits. With an EP on the horizon, as well as collaborative projects in the works, Capo Lee is making it known that he’s here to stay and the throne is his for the taking.
