Grime stalwart Lethal Bizzle unveils the video for ‘single’ Wobble’, which is available to buy now on iTunes and to stream across all platforms.
Post Lethal Bizzle premiering ‘Wobble’ on the first sold-out date of his nationwide UK ‘22 Tour’ in April, Scott Mills (standing in for Nick Grimshaw) gave the single its first radio play on the Radio 1 Breakfast show on Friday 20th May. The following night Lethal Bizzle perforemd at the David Haye vs Arnold ‘The Cobra’ Gjerjaj fight at the O2 Arena, London.
Released by Dench Records/ EMI, ‘Wobble’ comes fresh off the back of underground cut, ‘Box’ featuring JME and Face, and follows last year’s release of the inimitable ‘Fester Skank’, which charted at no. 11 in the UK singles chart, and Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’, ‘Playground’ featuring Shakka.
Lethal Bizzle first exploded onto the British music scene in 2003 as part of More Fire Crew, whose debut single, the Garage anthem ‘Oi’, charted at no. 7 in the UK singles charts. Since then as a solo artist he has released three albums and twenty singles, including the Grime anthem ‘Pow (Forward)’; become a MOBO award winner; and embarked on numerous headline tours in addition to hitting the road with the likes of The Enemy and Babyshambles, performing regularly on the UK festival circuit and appearing at the final Live 8 concert in 2005. Alongside his career as an MC, Bizzle has graced the silver screen (with a cameo role in the film Anuvahood), and proved himself to be a thriving entrepreneur, with the founding of his own imprint Stay Dench Records, the launch of clothing line Stay Dench with ex-Arsenal footballer Emmanuel Frimpong, and the international expansion of his Dench Party club nights.
The full release for ‘Wobble’, released via Stay Dench Records/Virgin EMI, is 15th July 2016.
