With the release of ‘シャウ道。- The Way Of Shao’ (His third album and original manga series) drawing closer, Shao Dow presents his fourth single ‘Til The Casket Drops’ featuring Serocee, Durrty Goodz, AC MC & Papoose’.

Debuted by Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio One on the 18th June 2016, ‘Till The Casket Drops’ features a skilled yet varied cast and demonstrates a range of abilities born from different lyrical disciplines.

Produced by Manchester-based beatsmith Ryujin the track mixes heavy hitting Hip Hop with Grime influences to create the musical backbone.

UK Dancehall heavyweight and recent Red Bull Culture Clash winner Serocee lends his vocals to the chorus whilst Shao Dow opens the tracks with a rapid-fire lyrical assault.

Respected Grime veteran Durrty Goodz introduces a slower tempo with his verse swiftly followed by Drum & Bass artist AC. The track is completed with a feature from American rap star Papoose, best known for his feature on Busta Rhymes ‘Touch It’ and his marriage to female rapper Remy Ma (most recently released ‘All The Way Up’ with Fat Joe).

Shao Dow is a truly independent rap artist, trained in Shaolin Kung Fu in China. He has sold over 20,000 copies of his albums without a label and launched his own range of headphones.

In addition, he co-owns The Blue and Purple Store, the UK’s first artist-run pop-up shops in major shopping centers around the country.

Shao has opened for artists such as Stormzy, Tech N9ne, Skepta and The Pharcyde and toured the UK, Europe and Asia. His third studio album will also contain features from Dot Rotten, McLean and Krizz Kaliko of Strange Music.
