Just into it’s second year, Pop Brixton has fast become South London’s hottest location for street food, bars and restaurants. Sitting at it’s heart is Pop Box, a unique club space made from 9 stacked shipping containers serves up a weekly program of live music, DJ’s and club nights.
Hailed as ‘London’s best RnB night’ by Time Out, Supa Dupa Fly is an essential fixture in any 90’s & 00’s Hip Hop, RnB and Garage lover’s diary. Since 2011, we’ve grown to become arguably the best event of our kind in the UK. Rita Ora, Disclosure, Jazzy Jeff, EZ, Heartless Crew are just some of the artists who’ve performed at Supa Dupa Fly, not to mention impromptu sets from Amerie and Professor Green, plus special guests Emeli Sande and Lion Babe. Every year we host arenas at festivals like Lovebox and numerous high-profile shows at Soho and Shoreditch House. Recent press features include Time Out, The Guardian, The Metro and The Evening Standard.
EMILY RAWSON: Emily Rawson is one of the UK’s most in demand DJs and promoters. Her club night, Supa Dupa Fly, is unquestionably the biggest throwback Hip Hop and RnB night in the country, selling out every weekly event and her all female brand, Rock The Belles, is also a monthly sold out event. Emily has recently DJ’d for the Kardashians, Chanel, Nike, Roc Nation, Island Records and artists such as Big Boi, Eve and Kanye West. Her festival DJ sets and stage curation include Lovebox, Wireless and The Great Escape. Emily does regular guest mixes for BBC Radio 1Xtra and the BBC World Service. ELLIE PROHAN: The dancing DJ with copious amounts of energy and good vibes, she was born to hype up a crowd! With residencies under her belt for Supa Dupa Fly and Rock The Belles, not only is Ellie a talented DJ who knows how to read an audience, she is one of very few DJ’s with the unique talent of hosting her own sets, picking up the mic to turn an already pumping night into a frenzy. Following the online release of her single, ‘Hold Up’ – a remake of Neneh Cherry’s classic ‘Buffalo Stance’ – with the music video achieving viral status of over half a million views in a short period of time, Brooklyn embarked on a summer of live performances including a Summer Tour followed by a number of festival dates.
Blessed with strong soulful vocals in her petite frame and size 4 Jordan’s, Brooklyn is quickly emerging as a voice not to be overlooked.
