Did You See’ is signature J Hus, encompassing all the elements that we have grown to love about him over the years. His ‘feel good’ wave across a signature JAE5 production, gives us the perfect taster of what’s to come for his debut album released May 12th.

“Did You See is a track where me and JAE5 just had fun” recalls J Hus.

This follows last years release of the ‘Playing Sports’ EP including title track, ‘Free Up’ and ‘Clean It Up’ which Hus decided to drop on his sound cloud account. And who can forget the release of ‘Friendly’, originally leaked online, the track was accompanied by a typically entertaining visual from Hus coining his popular term ‘Fanta with no ice’ which went on to become a viral sensation.

Nominated for Best Newcomer at The MOBO Awards in 2015, and included on the long-list for the 2016 BBC Sound Poll, Hus is back and ready to make his mark. His ‘The 15th Day’ mixtape, which dropped back in 2015 alongside smash single ‘Lean & Bop’, highlights his ebullient blend of Dancehall, Afrobeat, Grime and R&B, winning acclaim from The Guardian, Fader, Noisey, Complex and i-D, and clocking over a million plays in its first month. Securing a deal with Black Butter, home to acts such as Rudimental, Jess Glynne, Goldlink and Will Heard, Hus ended 2015 featuring on Tinie Tempah’s ‘Junk Food’ mixtape.
