Following the release of his high energy track UKG premiered by GRM Daily, East London wordsmith Rageouz cements his position as this year’s one to watch with his latest track LIMBO
The soulful number – produced by Hungary’s very own Tzapa – sees Rageouz deliver his signature cut through flow as he exposes his soulful side, taking on us on a lyrical journey through the concept of Limbo from his perspective.
“I take people with me as I recap on a few spaces I found myself in, which is why Limbo has a very reminiscent tone. The song is about the journey I’m on, and keeping myself amongst the different types of highs in my life, especially during low times”.
Hailing from Canning Town, Rageouz’s musical journey began at the age of 11 as young school boy. Inspired by the likes of Kano and Dizzee Rascal, Rageouz would write lyrics which he would later use in clashes between him and friends during lunchtime. A couple of years later in 2012, Rageouz made his debut as an artist with his first visual release ‘Outchea’, followed by his debut mixtape ‘Hell’s Angel’. After taking some time out to master his craft, Rageouz returned in 2014 with the release of his collaborative project with fellow one50 artist Ayar, titled ‘Authentape’, which gained support from various platforms including the MOBOs and iluvlive.
Becoming more confident in his sound, Rageouz went on to release ‘East Side‘ the following year, along with his remarkable EP ‘Ethos‘. 2016 proved to be a busy year for Rageouz with the release of his single ‘4dawholeyear’ supported by GRM Daily, followed by his collaborative project ‘Back 2 Da Future’ with singer-songwriter Preacher Soul, and the release of ‘On The House‘ – a project where released a track a week in November. Starting the year off with a bang, 2017 will see Rageouz cement his position as the next star to surface from the UK scene as he takes to the throne as one of the most talented rappers on the come up.
