Petrelli Brothers originate from York, UK and consist of Lego & Spee Six Nine, together they present their debut LP, GHOST DIARIES
Both are experienced solo artists who joined forces due to a mutual love of classic Boom Bap Hip Hop.
Lego (one of Don’t Flop’s original battle rappers) has been busy mastering the MPC and is now armed with a massive catalogue of beats to be used at any given moment. An experienced freestyler, he can rock any crowd large or small. Spee brings a unique blend of witty punchlines and strangely good metaphors and has currently been working with Bigg Taj (one of the UK’s finest beatboxers).
The pair have played alongside acts such as Method Man & Redman, GZA, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Dilated Peoples, Ugly Duckling, DJ Format, MF Doom, EPMD, Dirty Dike, Four Owls, Taskforce, De La Soul, M.O.P and more.
Spee Six Nine’s debut album ‘Army Of One’ includes features from The Snowgoons, Guilty Simpson and Abdominal and had tracks played on BBC Radio 1 & BBC 1Xtra. Lego’s debut album ‘The Rendition’, produced by Jack Danz, was released on Boom Bap Professionals in 2013 and quickly became a cult classic in the underground Hip Hop scene.
