“Put some smoke up in it”

While an ominous build leads to a heavy drop, creating an all-around filthy track.

‘Hold Up’ on iTunes

Borgeous erupted on the scene in 2013 with “Tsunami,” an epic collaboration with DVBBS. The single reached #1 on iTunes in 15 different countries, #1 on Beatport, went platinum on the ARIA charts, and was nominated for the Juno award ‘Best Dance Recording of the Year’. Since then, the LA-based DJ has had an astronomical rise to fame. In 2015 he ranked #87 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs and in 2016, he partnered with Armada to launch his own label Geosus Records. He ended 2016 on a high note, releasing his debut album 13, which featured appearances from Lil Jon, Sean Paul, and more. Heading full speed into this year, he embarked across North America on the House of BORGEOUS tour, inviting artists such as Breathe Carolina, Lookas, and MORTEN to join him on stops. Additionally, he released the MORTEN collaboration ‘Coffee Can Money’ featuring RUNAGROUND.

‘Coffee Can Money’ and ‘Hold Up’ continue the creative trajectory of success MORTEN has seen recently. Over the past year alone, the Danish artist has produced several successful Dim Mak singles including ‘Kids’ with Steve Aoki, ‘TTFU’ with Riggi & Piros, ‘Certified’ with TWOLOUD, and ‘Love’ featuring Mr. Vegas. His heavy hitting sound has earned him support from Avicii, Tiesto, Kaskade, David Guetta, and Cedric Gervais to name a few. On the live stage, MORTEN has thrown down in front of massive crowds at Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Life in Color Miami, as well as nightclubs Pacha Ibiza and XS Las Vegas. In a Dancing Astronaut write-up of last year’s ‘Body Down’ (Inspector Gadget) the outlet proclaimed,

“It’s an unapologetically fun record that shows MORTEN not only atop the big room game right now, but using a variety of crossover and club-favoring material to dominate the electronic dance landscape”.
