FTSE ft. Shola Ama & Donae’O – Work U Out (Audio/iTunes)

Birmingham-born producer FTSE announces the release of, WORK U OUT, featuring Shola Ama & Donae’O via Ministry of Sound

The track was premiered yesterday across Clash Music and is available for purchase across all DSP’s below.

Unifying disconnected global cultures to take club music in a new direction, FTSE creates the ultimate nostalgia in the form of this garage influenced track with two of the most prominent names in the UK scene. Shola Ama’s sultry vocals laced over the beat, coupled with Donae’O and his signature flow, creates a sure fire hit ready to blaze the airways this summer.

“When I heard the beat and chorus for the track I automatically knew I wanted to be involved in this project. Garage is such a massive part of why I’m successful it was only right to give something back to the culture. I can’t wait to perform this record; the energy is so uplifting it reminds me of raving back in the day at Garage Nation or Exposure” – Donae’O.

“The minute I heard this track I knew I wanted to be involved in.Coming from the Garage era it seemed fitting to bring something like this back..and also with Donae’O being a pioneer in the scene , I felt it was a nice nod to the history of it but also still very much current” – Shola Ama.

FTSE’s previous release was under the iconic Rinse banner with the Drum Machine EP – two genre hopping heaters that were instantly certified Summertime jams of this year in the form of ‘Drum Machine’ & ‘Banana Bomb’.

His journey to the dance floor has been anything but textbook. From his days travelling the globe in hard-core bands to crafting his unique identity in electronic music, FTSE has long adopted a stripped back approach to production that remains prominent in his club cuts today.

Inspired by dance floors across the globe, FTSE celebrates the genre in all its incarnations, bringing together various fundamental elements of UK garage, with the carnival rhythms of warmer climates. With the release of ‘Work U Out’ via Ministry, he is set to make his mark this summer.
