C Cane – Bad To Da Bone (Music Video/Link Up TV)

London based C CANE recently dropped her big, bad & heavy new track, BAD TO DA BONE, with visuals courtesy of Link up TV

‘Bad To The Bone’ sees  C Cane provide melodic vocals over the hook, whilst spitting some fierce lyrics, with her trademark flow over the rest of the track.

C Cane has spent the last 24 months building a noteworthy profile for herself via her standout talents and multilingual flows. Dropping her latest record ‘Bad to Da Bone’, the rapper, singer and songwriter demonstrates exactly why she’s been tipped by Complex as one to watch.

Lending her vocals to this bouncy beat produced by D S Gryme, her sweet melodic vocals throughout the hook are in juxtaposition with the darker, feisty lyrics she lays down on the verses as she details the lack of loyalty and respect within the music industry. Displaying confidence and understanding beyond her years, the dedicated musician, that also masters the guitar and piano, is an unusually captivating artist. So much so in fact that she was one of the most requested UK females to represent across a series of notable freestyles last year including BBC Radio 1Xtra’s #GimmeGrime series, a takeover on Sir Spyro’s Rinse FM grime show, 1Xtra’s Female Freestyle alongside Lady Lykez and Ms Banks, Red Bull’s Christmas Cypher and BBC Asian Network with Kandi Man and Limelight, resulting in MTV flagging her Radio 1Xtra offering as one of the best freestyles of the year.

Having taken 2017 in her own stride so far and presenting her musical output on her own terms, C Cane has consistently kept us on the edge of our seats by dropping nuggets of gold such as her SBTV #A64 and her session with Toddla T on BBC Radio 1Xtra. An artist that has many strings to her bow, she has also filmed a documentary alongside Idris Elba for BBC 3 earlier in the year and is currently filming for Sky Arts for a big project to broadcast in the coming months, all whilst locking down her own radio show on Reprezent Drivetime every Wednesday. For the singles itself, she has been granted support via the Momentum Music Fund, which is managed by the PRS Foundation and supported using public funding by National Lottery through Arts Council England, supported by PPL in association with Spotify.
