The acclaimed British Nigerian South London Rapper Fekky shares his debut album ‘El Clasico’ via Island Records. A highly-anticipated record that’s been two years in the making, ‘El Clasico’ is an uncompromising projection of young British life in 2017.

A creative and cohesive body of work comprised of 18 original and energetic tracks, ‘El Clasico’ both satisfies and transcends the label ‘grime’ whilst showcasing Fekky’s lyrical dexterity and trademark flow. The album also features some of Grime’s hottest players including Ghetts, Chip, Giggs, Skepta, Shakka and garage legend Neutrino, and has seen huge media and tastemaker support across the board from i-D, GRM Daily, Noisey, Complex, Notion, PAUSE, Viper, 1xtra’s Mistajam and Sian Anderson and Capital XTRA’s Manny Norté.

Speaking on the album, Fekky says – “It’s just about an individual coming from where we come from and making it. The story of where I’ve come from is authentic, it’s raw, and it needs to be told. You feel that you can relate to someone because if it’s real for me, it’s real for someone else”.

Fekky is a celebrated name in the UK rap scene, with previous singles including ‘Mad Ting  Sad Ting’, ‘Way Too Much’ featuring Skepta and ‘Sittin Here feat. Dizzee Rascal’ reaching now iconic status. For years, Fekky has been igniting the underground with his brand of quick fire raps, tongue-in-cheek menace and local respect earning him a MOBO nomination in 2016, huge support from BBC 1xtra DJ’s, and sold out tours across Europe.
