Hackney born-and-bred rapper IYKZ returns to the music scene with his brand new release BEANO, produced by German Duo The Cratez (Bryson Tiller, Kevin Gates, Joyner Lucas)

The visual was premiered by MTV UK’s The Wrap Up. Starting to make music as a garage MC at the young age of 14 already, the Londoner artist draws inspiration from a wide array of artists, Tupac and Michael Jackson being
among them. He’s come a long way in the scene already, from signing to Indie Label Reignassance (former clients include CHIP, Random Impulse, Wizzy Wow) to being featured on SBTV’s Google Chrome advert – IYKZ is not going to stop grinding.

When talking about Beano, IYKZ explains that, “The record is purely about my journey; I want people to know that I’ve been around and I’ve earned my stripes. I draw direct comparisons to Dennis The Menace with his rad/black striped jumper and the old school comic BEANO which was one of my favorites growing up as a child in Hackney. I’ve been around the block and I want everyone to know about it, I’ve not always been fully focused on making it and as a result, I feel like my counterparts have progressed further. I’m back and here to stay for good”.

Beano follows up his successful singles from earlier this year, ‘Clarity‘ featuring Hayley Cassidy and Afrobeats-influenced single ‘They Know (Wan Mo)‘ featuring Maleek Berry, both have gained enormous support from leading industry figures (Charlie Sloth, DJ Target, BBC 1/1Xtra) and over 300,000 streams on Spotify.
