Malcolm Anthony & Squidnice – Gang Bang (Prod. by Nate Merchant/Audio)

LA-based NJ-born artist, Malcolm Anthony, connects with Staten Island’s Squidnice for their newest collaborative release, GANG BANG

Produced by Nate Merchant, ‘Gang Bang’ brings together Malcolm Anthony’s keen ear for melody with Squidnice’s signature lazy flow. The track is the latest offering from the duo’s upcoming collaborative mixtape, ‘The First 48’, which is set to drop at the beginning of 2018.

Speaking of the track’s inspiration, Malcolm Anthony shared, “This is what happens when you take shrooms and make an album in two days. Gang Bang was a freestyle that started with ‘this the type of shit…’ and the next thing we knew, we had a record”.

Recorded in Colorado shortly after the two met for the first time, ‘The First 48’ captures the striking chemistry and fearless energy of two of rap’s most exciting newcomers. The duo previously connected for ‘Chelsea‘ which racked up over 150K streams.

Earning a reputation for his remarkable versatility and a long list of collaborations, Malcolm Anthony has been turning heads in recent months. His relentless work ethic has made him a go-to for features, connecting with the likes of Lex Luger, Pham, Wave Chappelle and Sam F, to name a few. Laying down the groundwork with projects like the Terry Mak assisted ‘Cuffin’ SZN‘, or the Lex Luger-produced ‘1804‘, Malcolm Anthony’s music has earned placements from notable tastemakers including Pigeons & Planes, Fake Shore Drive, DJ Booth and many more. An incredible live performer, he has appeared on hundreds of live shows, even performing at this year’s largest Hip Hop festival, Rolling Loud. With multiple projects set to release in the new year, Malcolm Anthony is poised to take his music to the next level.

Squidnice has been making waves with his debut project, ‘The Craccen‘, which dropped earlier this year. The music video for his breakthrough single, ‘Trap By My Lonely‘, has over 2M views and he broke down the lyrics on Genius’ Verified. Featured in exclusive mini-documentaries by The Fader and Pigeons & Planes, and sitting down for in-depth interviews with the likes of XXL and Mass Appeal, Squidnice has been working overtime to put Staten Island back on the map.
