UK award-winning emcee Shao Dow drops his latest track KAIO-KEN, and announces his upcoming HARD WORK AND NUNCHUCKS Tour

After scooping the AIM Award for Hardest Working Artist last year, Shao Dow continues the momentum with his new single ‘Kaio-Ken’, a fresh sounding, crisply delivered track, Shao Dow pays homage to his Japanese influences on the track and in the visuals.

Mastery should be synonymous with the name Shao Dow because that is simply what springs to mind whenever his name is uttered. From years of training in the art of Shaolin Kung Fu to speaking French and Japanese, he now furthers his pursuit of the music world. Having singlehandedly sold over 25,000 copies of his previous albums and achieved a hit in the Spotify UK Viral Top 50 chart with his previous single ‘DropKickMan‘, all without a label, he has also toured the UK and Europe.

As the winner of AIM’s 2017 ‘Hardest Working Artist’ award, Shao Dow has also been hailed for his unrelenting application to his craft from rap purveyors such as DJ Semtex. His debut on Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show ‘Fire in the Booth’ was billed as,

Recently selected as one of four to perform for House of Van’s ‘Give a Gig’ initiative in March alongside BBK’s Frisco, Nadia Rose and Tiggs Da Author, Shao Dow has also sparked the interest of Dizzee Rascal thanks to his online Nunchuku practice sessions.

Leading us on to the fact that Shao Dow is about to embark on the aptly named ‘Hard Work And Nunchucks’ tour alongside the release of ‘Kaio-Ken’. Stopping off in London, Derby, and Norwich, the tour is set to be energetic, entertaining, and memorable.
