Los Angeles-based Nytrix makes his New Noise debut with, UNTIL THE EDGE
DJ, producer and vocalist Nytrix arrives on New Noise with stunning electronic single ‘Until The Edge’. Nytrix’s vocoded vocals build into an instrumental chorus, where playful neon synths bounce over future bass beats to create unexpected harmony.
Nytrix’s monumental ascension in the electro scene began in 2015 with his first single ‘Take Me Higher’, which peaked at #7 on Billboard’s Dance Chart. It spawned a remix EP that included R3hab, Sikdope, Dave Audé, and D.O.D. taking Nytrix’s tune to new sonic dimensions. The music video for the track also aired on MTV Clubland, broke into Beatport’s Top 100 Chart, and was featured on Tiesto’s ‘Clublife’ radio show. The young producer continued his streak when he collaborated with singer DEV on their electro house banger ‘Electric Walk’, which landed at #8 on Billboard’s Top 10. Nytrix lent his voice to ‘Stay Here Forever’, his foray into a melodic future bass sound that broke over 2 million views on YouTube.
‘Love Never Died’, his biggest release to date, appeared in over 50 syndicated radio shows and podcasts, with major plays from Laidback Luke, Afrojack, David Guetta, Timmy Trumpet, W&W, and more. His touring schedule has included plays opening for Carnage, Afrojack, and Kesha at major venues across the country.
Coinciding with his growing musical talent is his skill behind the camera. The DJ, producer, and vocalists add a number of film credits to his name: he directs, edits, produces, and co-shoots all his music videos, including a curated YouTube channel with over 7 million aggregate views.
New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting-edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamer’s and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
