Staten Island, New York-based Trife Diesel is joined by fellow native and Wu-Tang member Method Man on the first single PYREX DREAMS, taken from his upcoming sophomore album, PROJECT POPE 2

Trife Diesel is making his return to the game after a long absence since the release of his debut album ‘Better Late Than Never’ in 2009. As the protege of Wu-Tang legend Ghostface, Trife made his mark in the early 2000’s being featured on such projects as Ghosts’ ‘The Pretty Toney’ Album and ‘Fishscale’ as well as fellow Wu affiliate Shyheim’s ‘Manchild’ and the collaboration album ‘Put It On The Line’ with his mentor. He also is a member of Ghostface’s Theodore Unit group and appears on 2004’s ‘718’ and 2006’s ‘NY’s Backbone’.

After dropping his acclaimed debut, Trife followed up with some singles while featuring on a number of tracks with artists such as Black Thought, Saigon, Termanology, Tragedy Khadafi, Nate Dogg and more, and even appeared on the lead single off of producer Mark Ronson’s debut album ‘Here Comes The Fuzz’.

2018 sees the return of the Staten Island emcee with his upcoming sophomore album ‘Project Pope 2’, scheduled to drop later this month. Setting things off, Trife calls upon the help of fellow native and Wu-Tang member Method Man to assist him on the first single ‘Pyrex Dreams’ which see’s the two talented lyricists spitting some 90’s flavor gully behavior over an upbeat modern synth production from Charlie Brown Beatz.
