New Zealand based producer QUIX & MATRODA join forces on their new banger LAMBO, via Los Angeles based Dim Mak Records

Two of bass music’s most intriguing producers, QUIX and Matroda, come together on the Dim Mak collaboration ‘LAMBO‘. The brooding single opens amidst a serene backdrop before quickly transforming into a dark, exhilarating soundscape filled with a cacophony of surging synths.

Following the release of Dim Mak debut EP Heaps Cool and collaborations with the likes of Gucci Mane and UZ, New Zealand-native QUIX has maintained a crazy schedule this past year. In support of the EP, QUIX took his high-energy show onto the road last year, captivating audiences at EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Nocturnal Wonderland, and his own headlining dates around the world. With recent singles ‘I’ll Give You The World’ and ‘Storm’ under his belt, QUIX has brought his Hip Hop-meets-Trap sounds around the world. Between a North American coast-to-coast Storm Tour, SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, and select dates on Steve Aoki’s Kolony US Tour, 2018 also saw QUIX confirmed for his first-ever Las Vegas residency at Drai’s. He played Dim Mak Miami during Miami Music Week earlier this year, as well as his first Coachella at the festival’s Heineken House stage. Additionally, this summer on June 10th, 2018, QUIX joins the Dim Mak Neighborhood lineup at the Brooklyn Mirage as one of the many influential artists, alongside Steve Aoki, Dada Life, Smokepurpp, Carnage, Ricky Remedy, Max Styler, R3LL, Bok Nero and Noise Cans, who are shaping the soundscape of modern music.

Croatian-raised producer Matroda has enjoyed huge success on his path to fame, thanks to an inventiveness and non-stop work ethic that stems from years of classical training in violin, drums, and keyboard. Some of his hits include a VIP edit of Migos’ ‘Bad and Boujee’, ‘Get Down’, ‘Dat Vibe Pt. 2’, and an official remix of SNBRN’s ‘California’ in collaboration with Chris Lake. Matroda also has two EP’s under his belt: ‘Shut It Down’, released on Monstercat, and ‘BO$$/Back To The Basics’, released on Dim Mak. The young prodigy has toured the globe on top of continuously making and releasing music, showcasing his unparalleled take on bass and house music. Last summer, Matroda played alongside Steve Aoki on the Dim Mak Stage at Budapest’s Sziget Festival, as well as other festivals around the world. This year, he performed during Miami Music Week at Dim Mak Miami, in addition to traveling the US on his Shut It Down Tour. In the upcoming summer months, fans can catch the busy producer on his Australian and New Zealand tour.
