London, UK-based artist Laolu releases the visuals for her recently released track HOW TO FEEL, produced by Duncsuei

Following on from her newly released single ‘How To Feel’ which was premiered by Clash Music and BBC 1Xtra, with further acclaim and rave reviews from Nation Of Billions, Earmilk and Music Crowns, among others – adding to the recent support she has received from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit, Noctis Magazine and ILUVLIVE – South East London singer, songwriter and musician LAOLU is proud to debut the music video for the sultry R&B jam ‘How To Feel’, premiered via PRS For Music’s M Magazine.

Shot on location in Paris, and co-directed by Laolu and Searchmike (Rachel Foxx, Sippin Society, Factory311), the visuals for ‘How To Feel’ take inspiration from Beyonce’s classic ‘My, Myself and I‘ video, while still maintaining a minimalist approach, which allows for the powerful record and its lyrics to take centre stage. The visuals also let Laolu’s personality shine through, and for us to get to know her better, than on the darker-themed visuals for her previous single ‘All In Me‘.

Speaking about the ‘How To Feel’ video, Laolu says,

“I enjoyed making this video with Searchmike, because this is one of my favourite songs, and I got to vibe and really connect with the song that much more, during the filming. We tried to flip the song’s themes of insecurity and uncertainty on its head, by working with fun outfits and bright colours. I thought the dichotomy between the visual aesthetic and song was interesting, and I’m really excited for everyone to enjoy this video”.
