South Central, Los Angeles’ own SpiffyUNO drops his brand new EP, PIO PICO, produced by Chicago-based beatmaker, Prince Laflare

Rising Los Angeles emcee, SpiffyUNO, is ready to stake his claim as Mr. South Central with his brand new EP, ‘Pio Pico,’ produced by Chicago, Illinois-based Prince Laflare. The Builders Music Group rep has been perfecting his craft and unique sound, which is on full display on ‘Pio Pico,’ where he blends his own lyrical mastery with a flow and skills that aren’t only confined to rapping in English.

The EP’s five tracks are all named in Spanish and feature the versatile emcee showcasing his bilingual skills, including on ‘Sabes Que’ where he states his mission:

“It didn’t seem like y’all n****s was understanding me when I speaking English, I gotta start talking to you n****s in another language”.

The idea is a perfect one for an artist as complex as Spiffy, who combines gritty street tales and lyrical dexterity with a flow that can morph to fit any beat thrown his way.
