East London based recording artist Bagz recently dropped the visual to his track TEK TIME, produced by Dada, via GRM Daily
Following on from his recent ‘Vibes’ collaboration with MOBO Award nominee Moelogo, and still riding high on the back of his underground hits ‘Snapchat’ and ‘Popular Person’, which have seen garner support from the likes of Spotify, Capital Xtra, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and Earmilk, among others, East London recording artist Bagz is excited to kick start 2019 with his brand new single ‘Tek Time’, and its exciting accompanying music video, as premiered via GRM Daily.
‘Tek Time’ was written by Bagz, and produced by emerging North London musician Dada, who has previously worked with Wretch 32, Mr Eazi, Kojo Funds, Fuse ODG, Mista Silva and Sarkodie, among others, while the visuals for ‘Tek Time’ sees Bagz linking up once again with exciting new video director and longtime collaborator Jake Japan, who is perhaps best known for his previous work with the likes of Headie One, Stylo G, Margs and of course, Bagz.
Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Tek Time’ and the visuals that come with it, Bagz says, “The record is simply about me approaching a girl that I like and professing my love for her. For the video, I wanted us to tell a story that could bring the track further to life, it’s a romantic, and intimate one, and the themes that cut across the video, focus on love, intimacy, the colorfulness of young romance, and being on a higher level with the one you love”.
