Urban Vault caught up with Zurich, Switzerland based emcee Rawdec, to ask him some questions about his upcoming album ASCENSION and more…

Rawdec is an English speaking emcee out of the Undisputed Ent. Camp in Switzerland. ‘Chapter One‘, is the first video taken off his forthcoming Album ‘Ascension’ released on 10th of May, featuring Sean Strange, Marka, The Jokerr & 3W.M. On ‘Ascension’ classic Boom Bap Beats meet new school flavor to end up in a reliable taste. After working with countless international artists and doing shows for years, it was about time to actually put out the quality music that was being made.

How long have you been making music?

About 6 Years.

How many tracks/albums have you released to date?

I’ve released an EP called Tear Walls Down Vol.1 in Mai 2016 featuring Pace Won & Cryptic Wisdom. Lately, I’ve released some singles featuring Playboy The Beast, Grewsum & Ryan Cali.

Tell us more about your latest project?

The Album ‘Ascension’ (being released on the 10th of Mai) is a product of my last years of struggling, joy, tears, sweat & blood. The Beats are heavy, but still modern – Quality over Quantity. The Album was recorded at Undisputed Studios, mixed by Top Notch Engineer Rob Rebeck & mastered by Dan Suter.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your Career?

Sean Strange, The Jokerr, Pace-Won, Reef The Lost Cauze, Cryptic Wisdom & so many more if we are counting the studio-sessions with people like Slaine & Ill Bill (La Coka Nostra)

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

The Strange Music Label Artists, Snak The Ripper & Serial Killers (Xzibit, Demrick & B-Real)

What inspires you when you make your music?

Everything around me – emotions, daily struggles & success, other artists creativity & the drive to become the best version I can be in the music industry & for my family.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

First off I’ve been breakdancing & within time, I’ve wanted to make the music I love myself! 3 Years ago I’ve started to take my craft more serious & founded an own Label called‚ Undisputed Entertainment with several Artists & evolved to a pretty good engineer aside from rapping.

What do you think of the music industry in 2019?

Too much Content, not enough Quality.

What have you got planned for 2019?

Releasing the Album in Mai and dropping 3-4 music-videos for this. As we speak, I’m planning a Tour & my next 2 EP’s being released in the last Quarter of this year featuring High-Quality Artists.
