Los Angeles based emcee ECHO recently dropped his track LIFE SUPPORT, a track about his former life as a drug dealer
ECHO is a Dominican emcee that incarnated in New York City and migrated to Los Angeles several years ago. He has visions for what a better world looks like, and he plants these visions into his music so that he can reach billions of people on Earth, which will hopefully help change the world as we all know it, for the better, forever. He’s a budding theoretical physicist, philosopher, ‘conspiracy theorist’, activist, and spiritualist that incorporates everything he’s ever learned and/or channeled about our world, into his music.
He feels it’s his mission/duty to help ‘awaken’ as many people as possible to what our true reality is, even if they don’t think they’re asleep or don’t care to be awakened and to always question everything… even the innocuous. He is always sharing everything he’s gone through and has learned via his own personal website, his Twitter and Instagram account, his songs, published books, blogs, music videos, V-logs, etc. Join the movement.
ECHO shares about the track, ” ‘Life Support’ is a story about a part of my life where I was a drug dealer. It was a part of my spiritual development, oddly enough, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The first verse is about the times I’d drive vans with secret compartments fully loaded with either drugs, guns or money. Second verse delves into the times I sold drugs out of my own apartment and the shame in it being right above where my mother used to live. The third verse is about being on the streets and selling crack to seeing how the marijuana industry is now public and part of the economy”.
