Dublin, Ireland based urban music quartet Super Silly recently dropped the visual to their latest track HATE DAH, produced by Solow T.A., with co-production from Grvz & Glory
Super Silly is made up of four musicians (Hudis, Grvz, Solow T.A. and Glory) who met playing gospel in their local Dublin church and have since become one of the most admired and inventive names on the Irish urban scene thanks to a succession of memorable releases.
With singles such as Here making it onto Spotify’s New Music Friday UK Playlist, the boys are ready to follow the success with their latest offering ‘Hate Dah’ (A very Dublin twist on ‘Hate That’).
A vibrant musical offering with a sad romantic heart, ‘Hate Dah’ is the flip side to their previous single ‘Hold Your Own‘, itself a hard-hitting track on the perils of drunk texting your ex. Both songs will be found on the band’s debut EP, released this summer through Believe Digital’s urban imprint A4WRD.
Speaking on the release Super Silly said, “The song is a pure expression of how us millennials feel sometimes about the significant other we used to be Involved with. The lyrics say ‘I know we’re over but I miss you still’ while the beat says ‘f**k you, I’m living my best life’….” Continuing with “Don’t you just hate when that one person you love breaks your heart, without a warning and then texts you ‘hey’ like everything is ok but you deep down don’t know how to not love them. Now all the promises and thoughts of forever are gone and fixing things feels like climbing the tallest mountain”.
