2/3rds of Western Australian Hip Hop trio the K9INES, Figuero Jones & ErikiBeatz recently dropped the visual for their track KGFLOW, via Day Ones Records

‘KG FLOW’ is the second single from West Australian heavyweights Figuero Jones and ErikiBeatz taken from their upcoming project. Sonder Films once again handles the visuals that accompany the single via Day Ones Records. Visually we follow Figuero as he attempts to charm, woo and serenade his girl while describing how he is due to the journey he’s traveled to get to where is now.

‘KG FLOW’ is a grandiose motivational ode to the hard work and time Figuero puts into his craft which is reflected in his latest release ‘Ride’ which accumulated over 20 thousand streams on Spotify alone in its first week of release and was added to multiple editorial playlists’ such as New Music Friday AU/NZ and Urban Flavour ‘KG FLOW’ as a record is a reflective self-affirmation in the belief that Figuero Jones has in himself as an artist,

“Ye I work hard for this heat, / ye can’t touch me”,

and in his close friend and frequent producer, ErikiBeatz,

“MC f**king hammer on the beat, / ye can’t touch this”.

The fruits of his labor are evident in the ease with which Figuero intertwines his catchy melodic flow over lush, hazy and hypnotic ErikiBeatz production. Figuero illustrates his growth as a storyteller, with clever and concise wordplay;

“…Big money make her small heart bust it, baby I got more for your pain you can clutch this”.

Always a common theme within Figuero’s music, he never fails to display his hunger and competitive nature, as well as his desire to continue improving,

“…I just know the sport and I’m juggling all the time”.

FJ then goes on to describe how big he thinks the gap is between he and Eriki compared to the rest of the competition, along with implying how in 2019 the duo has already supplied hits referring to ‘GULLY SZN’.

“…Ran it up, past tense, ye can’t even get close, I did more hits in a year for my main bro”.

Overall ‘KGFLOW’ captures a locked in Figuero Jones and ErikiBeatz, who have already shown that they have both grown so much as well as giving us insight as to what else we can expect from their upcoming EP in November.
