South London, UK based emcee trio The Manor are back with their latest track SWAZZ, to celebrate the announcement of their headline 2020 Brixton show

Following the huge announcement of their biggest headline date yet, the O2 Academy Brixton on the 21st of March 2020, The Manor now gear up for their next release ‘SWAZZ’.

The Manor has never done anything in half measures and after selling their headline shows out from O2 Academy Islington right through to the roundhouse late last year they’ve decided to up the stakes once again. In 2020 The Manor takes over the O2 Academy Brixton for a night the proud south Londoners have grown up visualizing all their lives.

This one’s very personal for the boys and with the brand of party The Manor have become infamous for throwing, this will also be a night unlike anything the O2 Academy Brixton has seen in its long history.

After spending years crafting a sound, now synonymous with its local surroundings, it seems very fitting that O2 Academy Brixton, in the heart of south London will play host to the biggest night of their careers thus far.

In early 2019 the lads had got a taste of performing at the venue whilst supporting their icon and long-time mentor Mike Skinner on his UK tour but a taste clearly wasn’t enough. A busy year continued with a successful ‘Free The Geezer‘ EP and podcast where the band’s reputation for honest heartfelt content and good vibes were only enhanced. The boys, however, have earmarked 2020 as the year it all goes mental for The Manor and where better to start than the 21st of March at O2 Academy Brixton.

It’s been a great year for the boys starting with an explosive support tour for The Streets on their nationwide tour, which received great support from tastemakers including Shortlist, Wonderland, and Noctis. Later in the year, they released a long-awaited EP ‘Free The Geezer’, a critically-acclaimed podcast by the same name which saw them deliver raw chat and good banter with the likes of Louisa Johnson, Munroe Bergdorf, Paul Canoville, and also performed at the prestigious PFA Awards. This autumn, The Manor continues to keep the momentum flowing with the release of their new track ‘SWAZZ’.

With production from the South London duo Splurge Boys who have previously produced for the likes of Giggs, Ghetts, and Skepta, ‘SWAZZ’ gives listeners high energy, bars, and phenomenal flow.

Beginning as three friends from Beckenham, south London scheming on their fag break during college, emcee’s Danny Graft, Scotty Stacks, and Jonny Dutch started fusing UKG with elements of Grime and rap to a fierce sense of local pride and a love of their community.  Starting to put on shows, essentially parties for themselves and their mates, they began building a serious reputation; Inner-city hustle mixed with local love has swiftly caught the attention of heavyweight tastemakers including Noisey, Red Bull, Clash, and BBC 1Xtra.

Now surpassing over four-million global streams from this year alone, with three-million of those coming from the UK; the release of ‘SWAZZ’ will see the trio continuing to underline their reputations as one of the most exciting emerging acts right now.
