Much sought after Los Angeles-based Zimbabwean artist-producers Bantu & Dr. Chaii are back with their new track DICAPRIO, featuring multi-platinum selling British singer and songwriter Bipolar Sunshine

‘DiCaprio’ serves as the third single to be taken from the highly anticipated 6-track collaborative EP currently in the works from Bantu and Dr. Chaii, following their breakthrough hit single ‘Jackie Chan’, and this summer’s infectious jam featuring Soaky Siren titled ‘Summer Whine’.

Championed by BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Beats 1 Radio, MTV Base, VEVO, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music, to mention a few, Bantu and Dr. Chaii boast over 200 million streams between them, bolstered most recently by their collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Anuel AA titled ‘Familia’ from the Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse film soundtrack. Speaking about the inspiration for their new track ‘DiCaprio’, Bantu and Dr. Chaii say,

“This song is inspired by all the amazing sounds and genres that are coming from around the world. If we were to try and describe ‘DiCaprio’, we’d say it’s a fusion of Middle Eastern, African and Brazilian rhythm and melody. It’s the first time we’ve worked with Bipolar Sunshine, and it’s one of the most favourite songs we’ve ever been a part of. With this track, we literally said, ‘man lets make something fun that people can dance to’, and that’s what happened, it’s one of those songs that honestly feels like it wrote itself”.
