West London based rapper Finn Foxell drops his new track/visual PRESSURE, ahead of his forthcoming eight-track TALK IS CHEAP project

Growing up in Shepherds Bush, Finn was heavily influenced by his family; his dad a songwriter, mum a music enthusiast, and his older brother who rapped from a young age. Being the youngest of four he was inspired by his surroundings and seeking an emotional outlet he first began penning lyrics at the tender age of eight. Over the years, Finn has built up a dedicated fanbase by releasing music on his own as well as collaborations with his collective Elevation Mediation (P-rallel, Lord Apex, Xav, and Louis Culture).

For some, Finn broke onto the scene with his acclaimed ‘Good Tea’ EP late last year, for others his singles ‘Buddha’, ‘Ericsson’ & ‘What for’ will go down as cult classics. New single ‘Pressure’, composed independently and produced by Alpha.Redd, is an ode to wanting to do better whilst declaring self-belief and hope. His dulcet tone and effortless flow are hypnotic and have quickly become part of his trademark sound. Citing artists such as Giggs, The Streets, and Anderson Paak as some of his biggest influences he extracts the rawest elements of rap, soul, rock and beyond into
everything he creates.

2020 got off to a strong start with Finn selling out his first headline show at Peckham Audio just before lockdown. Prior to that, some have been lucky to see him perform at last year’s Boiler Room festival, as well as supporting Lava La Rue, Slowthai, Eliza, and The Manor. Finn is arguably one of the hottest British emcees to emerge of late and has certainly become a driving force in the UK Rap scene.
