Newark, New Jersey-based 050 Boyz member Tru Trilla & DJ Lord Jazz of the legendary Hip Hop group Lords Of The Underground recently dropped their new ten-track album LORD TRILLA, featuring Napsndreads, Guilty Simpson, Prince AK, Fly Kwa & RIQ

Tru Trilla has been one of the premier emcees on New Jersey’s independent Hip Hop scene for the past two decades citing the God MC Rakim and Chuck D as early influences. He founded the group It’s Only Family and went on to collaborate with Naughty by Nature and Lords of the Underground among others. Via involvement with Treach of Naughty By Nature’s Garden State Movement in 2004, which unified the local Hip Hop community, Tru Trilla’s opportunities to work with other emcees increased exponentially, culminating in the current collaboration with the Legendary DJ Lord Jazz.

DJ Lord Jazz formed the legendary HIp Hop Group Lords Of The Underground and became the inaugural BET Awards winner with the platinum album ‘Here Come The Lords’. DJ Lord Jazz’s career has spanned more than twenty-five years encompassing the early nineties, which is widely considered to be Hip Hop’s Golden Age.
