Los Angeles based recording artist Eye Traveler recently dropped the visual to his track CAPRICE CLASSIC MUSIC, taken off his recent album JOYOUS SOUNDS & OTHER SPELLS
‘Caprice Classic Music’ is the first single/visual taken off Eye Traveler’s recently released instrumental album ‘Joyous Sounds & Other Spells‘. In the video, Eye Traveler pays homage to the sounds that shaped and molded him. It is a combination of west coast Hip Hop and Funk, with a sprinkling of Jazz.
Visually, Eye Traveler captures an elegant Jazz performer from the bygone era of the Central Avenues Jazz scene in 1940s Los Angeles, drum machines and samplers are present while also showing the influence of lowrider car culture that informed his youth.
It is a style that pulls from classic Los Angeles Hip Hop acts like Above The Law to Cincinnati Ohio’s Hi Tek (Reflection Eternal).
