Toronto, Ontario based recording artist Ebhoni recently dropped her new track HIT THIS, produced by IzyBeats

Ebhoni enters the year with her new single ‘Hit This’, an Afrobeats influenced track with breakthrough producer IzyBeats (Jorja Smith & Koffee) on production. A song filled with her sensual yet powerful vocals, ‘Hit This’ showcases Ebhoni’s undeniable allure which has become her most powerful currency to use and explore as and when she wishes.

Entering the scene in 2016, Ebhoni has been making waves throughout the years with Pitchfork stating she is

“Reclaiming the Toronto R&B crown for women”.

Now, 20-years-old she hopes her listeners gain self-assurance and ultimately fun from all her musical output. Although R&B is her first love, Ebhoni is branching out into a more genre-less territory with feminine power speckled with dashes of dancehall and Afrobeats, as the driving force behind everything she does.

Throughout her career, Ebhoni has made a point to partner specifically with Black-owned businesses, supporting other female artists and workers, and to uplift the local LGBTQ+ community, which she’s done through efforts like hosting Pride Toronto. Unsurprising to hear, COVID played havoc on her 2020 plans meaning her first and only solo single for last year ‘MIA’ dropped in November. Now, with her gaze set straight ahead, Ebhoni is sitting confidently on a pile of unreleased tracks carefully planning her next move.
