Brooklyn, New York-based emcee Amari Mar recently dropped his new seventeen track album GRAND RISING, featuring Fashawn, Jadin Shropshire, Mega X, Ted Bundy Da God & more…

He is a student of the game but not a novice when it comes to his craft. He started writing and rapping at 16 and is inspired by the likes of Rakim, Nas, Kool G Rap, Black Thought, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, and many others.

Amari loves to travel, read and listen to classic Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz, and Soul music. His uncle, Coolie Ranx is one of the founding Ska members from the group Pilfers who voiced the video game character of Little Jacob in GTA 4. Amari’s music is witty, thought-provoking, and conscious that will surely impress enlightened minds of all kinds. He recently released his new album ‘Grand Rising’.

‘Grand Rising‘ is Amari’s third project in which he previously released his mixtape ‘Too Many Cooks Spoil The Broth‘, hosted by Kool G Rap in 2012 and ‘Da God Must Be Krazy‘ in 2013. ‘Grand Rising’ consists of 17 exclusive tracks and features Fashawn from Mass Appeal Records, Jadin Shropshire, Mega X, Ted Bundy Da God, Semu U, J Nolan, Ke Turner, and Balance Da Jeweler.
