London-based beat-maker RJ. Flo recently released his latest self-produced track HAPPY DAYS
An ode to the good times he had pre-Covid, this track makes use of chill R&B-infused beats that capture the hopefulness RJ. Flo has for better days to come. Peaceful, relaxing, and brimming with good vibes, ‘Happy Days‘ is a soundscape featuring Twi-language ad-libs alongside R&B vocals with a Future Beats-inspired atmosphere.
RJ. Flo stands for Ransford Just Flo, a stage name made to keep himself motivated and proactive. Beginning to create music in his teens when he started to learn to play the drums, RJ. Flo has become a sensation for crafting BopFunkSoul, his signature sound. Growing up with Ghanaian roots in Newham, London, RJ.Flo instilled passion and desire to his early works, manifesting a genre that is entirely him; a marriage of smooth soul progressions, funky basslines, and off-beat drums.
Having previously been commissioned to produce bespoke sounds for The Arts Depot, Tate Britain, and Dance Umbrella, RJ. Flo has used the lockdown to good effect, launching his Flo’s Soundtrack Sundays on IGTV, an independent project where he merges his BopFunkSoul sound with cult classic movies and television series.
