London, UK-based Drill trailblazer K-Trap drops his new nineteen-track mixtape THE LAST WHIP II, via his label Thousand8 Music

The Gipsy Hill rapper is keeping the genre alive with his return to ‘Day 1’ Trap and he has enlisted some A-Listers to join him in doing so including; Headie One, S Loud, LD, Krept & Konan, M Huncho, Youngs Teflon, Reekz MB & Odeal.

Showcasing a huge depth of sound and style, it is now Trap’s time to take the crown not only for what he’s done for the scene but for his unrivalled musical ability and skill when it comes to his craft. There are very few of his peers who have made such a permanent mark in the way Trap has and with his debut project, ‘The Last Whip’, dropping over five
years ago, to this day it remains one of the most game-changing Drill projects out there. With ‘The Last Whip II’ on track to supersede all, Trap is also taking it on the road for an extensive 11-date tour across the UK kicking off in November with many of the dates already sold out.

K-Trap rose to rap prominence due to his unorthodox flow, finesse, and mystery which all remain at the heart of his artistry and sound. Emerging onto the scene in 2017 with ‘David Blaine’, Trap’s consistent stream of releases resulted in co-signs from the likes of Stormzy, Giggs, and Fredo (to name a few) and earned him a permanent spot in the UK
music scene’s hall of fame.

Since establishing his own label and independence, Trap has been unstoppable from his critically acclaimed, ‘Trapo’ project late last year, to his Top 20 mixtape this year, ‘Joints 2’ featuring long-term friend and collaborator, Blade Brown. Most recently, Trap has collaborated with streetwear brand, Hoodrich on a limited range of clothes, further cementing his position as an influential, cultural icon.

The 26-year-old pioneer is living a different life but post removing his bally and stepping into the limelight, the long-term street side effects are forever present. Away from the rest of the herd, Trap is a timeless rapper who does things on his own terms and the mixtape is his proudest and most versatile to date. The 19-track tape bridges the gap between 2017 Trap and the present-day Trap and will undoubtedly go down in the history books.
