Chicago-based emcee King T3Z recently dropped his latest track/visual SLIDE SEASON, produced by Emmy-nominated producer Rick Tha Rular

‘Slide Season‘ comes on the heels of visuals for his 2022 single/video release ‘In Mode‘ which again was produced by Rick Tha Rular. Born Jocqui Martez Wardell, King’s style was influenced by artists such as J Cole, The Game, and Meek Mill.

Even though he considers himself an old soul and respects the ones who paved the way for the rap scene, he also relates to the new wave and trend of music.

“I want to bridge the gap between the O.G. artists and the young artists to show that you don’t have to follow the path that’s laid and can create your own”, says King.

His future goals are to make an impact on the music industry and leave an everlasting imprint. King says the inspiration behind ‘Slide Season’ was

“creating a storyline based off 3 records I recorded. ‘Big Homie’, ‘Slide Season’ and the last record ‘Dead People’. ‘Dead People”‘is not out yet but once that comes out it will all make sense”.
