Urban Vault caught up with London, UK-based recording artist Jondizzo to ask him some questions about his track titled CAME UP & more…

Hailing from Lisson Green Estate in Central London, Jondizzo has always been surrounded by a thriving hub of music, the capital boasts an eclectic range of musicians particularly famed for its ability to produce incredibly talented Rap & Grime artists. The estate provided him with a rough upbringing which has arguably shaped the artist he is today. Following a stint in jail, while locked up, Jondizzo perfected his craft and emerged as the extraordinary rapper he is today. Given the remarkable nature of his debut release, there’s no doubt that Jondizzo is guaranteed an explosive entry & following career in the UK Rap industry.

What is your name and where are you from?

Jondizzo.

I’m from Edgeware Rd, Lisson Green, London.

How long have you been making music?

I’ve been playing with music for a little while, but I’ve decided to start taking it seriously now and see what happens.

How many tracks/albums have you released to date?

I have 3 songs released at the moment on YouTube.

Can you tell us about your latest release ‘Came Up’, the background, and the inspirations behind it?

I was thinking about the transition in my life coming from the bottom and how my life is a lot healthier
now.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

As I said, I’ve started to take music more seriously now and people are starting to stand up and recognise.

What do you think of the music industry?

I think it’s different for everyone. My journey is a progressive one where I just get out there to industry insiders and fans alike till I get the recognition I should as people say my music is good.

What have you got planned for the rest of 2022?

I am currently dropping the audio to a song I should release a video for soon.

What inspires you when you make your music?

Life and situations I’ve been in and what I have seen around me growing up.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

I have collaborated with Stinx and more. Most recently Big Simz.

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?

I think maybe an artist like Rimzee.

What’s your favourite track at the moment?

Gunz by Jeff Fullyauto.

What do you do when you’re not making music?

I like to dine out and socialise with friends and family.

Which do you prefer, Facebook or Twitter, or Instagram?

I prefer Snapchat lol, Nah but yeah Instagram.
