A first of its kind album ‘East Meets West Africa’, executive producer KJ has taken the top artists from West Africa and East Africa for features and production, blending Bongo Flava and Afrobeats for an explosive album, pushing the boundaries and future of African music to a new level.
The lead track ‘Need You Now’ features Harmonize and Blaq Jerzee, a romanticised Afro-pop offering with an eclectic arrangement of sounds and instruments complementing the smooth harmonising vocals.
The 6-track album also features the already released ‘Sokoma’ which the music video can be watched exclusively via CEEK, as well as ‘6 AM’, the two combined have 5 million streams and gained recognition across editorial playlists such as ‘African Heat’.
