Dallas, Texas-based recording artist Pr¥nce Ace recently released his new highly anticipated album NEW VICE CITY
From the man that brought us the precursory, 4-track EP ‘Road To New Vice City’ which left audiences waiting in eager anticipation, Pr¥nce Ace finally brings us the highly awaited album ‘New Vice City’, a collaborative album collating all the talents of a broad spectrum of Dallas-based artists including Donnie Gambino, Otis15k, HrtBrkJnz, OG Tony J, GSS Udon, CMoneyy, Ari Tha Homie, Q Rose, Just2, Brittany Montgomery.
Ace decided to structure ‘New Vice City‘ in three acts; Act one pays homage to his city, friends, and the factors that have shaped his identity. Act two delves into the challenges and costs of ambition in a relationship, exploring the complexities of nurturing love. Act three serves as the conclusion of the album and contains tracks written with a sense of urgency as if the artist were conveying their final messages. These tracks are intended to leave a lasting impact and are crafted to ‘convert casual listeners into die-hard fans.
“I wrote Act 3 with the mindset of, If this is the last thing I ever record, what would I want to say? ‘To Whom It May Concern’ was written with that energy as well but serves as the ending of act one to foreshadow act three”.
The project encountered various setbacks, including canceled collaborations with the likes of BigXThaPlug (whom he wishes to plan an upcoming remix with) as well as funding issues, but it has truly been a labor of love for Pr¥nce Ace over the past two or three years.
