UK-based T4D & Charmerz recently collaborated to create an all-time classic double single EP, THIS ONE’S 4 DEE/ESTATE, accompanied by the visual for the title track

‘This One’s 4 Dee’ is a heartfelt 2-track EP released in honor of T4D’s best friend and brother who tragically passed away last year at the age of 38 due to an overdose. Before his passing, Dee had expressed a desire for T4D to help his oldest son enter the music industry when he came of age. With his son now shouldering the responsibilities left behind, T4D felt compelled to share their story and the impact of Dee’s passing through music. Produced by Bliss II and mixed/mastered by Ddiltz Productions, the instrumental sets a poignant backdrop for the emotional journey captured in the EP. The writing process was deeply touching yet smooth, translating their grief and memories into music. Recording sessions were profound as the 17-year-old son poured his heart into ‘This One’s 4 Dee‘, an introspective reflection on his father’s death. The EP aims to showcase his talent and versatility, highlighting his ability to deliver heartfelt lyrics with depth and maturity. Recorded in Suffolk and Kent, the music video for ‘This One’s 4 Dee’ includes a diverse cast of friends and admirers, reflecting Dee’s widespread impact and the love he shared with many. It serves as a tribute to a man who touched countless hearts and who will always be remembered for his unwavering support and love.

Lisbon-born, T4D living in Suffolk, is no stranger to viral success. Released in 2020, one of his most notable singles ‘Yesterday’ is a testament to his fast moving reach, achieving over 21K YouTube hits in just under 3 months. A huge milestone was when his single ‘Made To Be Tame’ was released by DMX on his last mixtape ‘Fresh Blood’. Charmerz started writing at the age of seven with the help of his dad, and first recorded in a studio at the age of eight before solo writing at age nine.

“This is my first ever release. The first two songs releases speak of my father’s passing and the second one speaks of what it’s like to live the street life”.

With his real name Charlie Chalmers, Charmerz is a clever spinoff of his surname which makes it impressively catchy whilst also deeply personal.
