Syracuse, New York-based emerging artist Logan Locke drops his latest incessant track ADIOS
Logan Locke is a multifaceted musician and producer who began his musical journey at age nine, playing his dad’s guitar. By 12, he was composing his own music, and at 13, he started working on ‘Ambience Symphony’, a key track in his upcoming EP set for release in Fall 2024. Although he planned to perform it for his Senior Project in 2016, other commitments like the Honor Choir and theater delayed this goal. After graduating, Logan delved much deeper into music production, releasing his debut track ‘Together, Apart’ in 2019, a somber ballad inspired by a friend’s abusive relationship. He followed up with ‘Limbo’, a metal piano ballad reflecting his feelings of isolation during the pandemic, and ‘Jeanne’, a tribute to his mother. His 2021 track ‘Mall Cop’ was inspired by his job as a security guard, while ‘Lost Myself’, also released that year, explored his grief after his father’s mysterious death.
Logan’s artist name stems from his middle name and a love for alliteration, with ‘Locke’ feeling like the perfect fit. A quote from his favorite artist, NF, has guided him:
“They say that having a mental breakdown is a negative thing, which on the one hand I agree with, on the other hand, it was the push I needed to get help and start the healing process”.
This quote reflects Logan’s journey of turning personal struggles into powerful, healing music.
Logan Locke is back with his latest single ‘Adios’, a one-of-a-kind Hip Hop track offering a dynamic blend of choral music and modern beats. Produced over four months, the track opens with a powerful choir sample, setting the tone for Locke’s symbolic goodbye to the bullies in his life while also addressing themes of overcoming lethargy and embracing his unique identity. Proud of his ‘nerdy’ passions, Locke includes playful references to Harry Potter and the anime series ‘Bleach’, unabashedly leaving his blueprint on the track. Representing a new outlook on life, ‘Adios’ is a commendable track from Locke.
