West Midlands-based Award-Winning emcee Trademark is back with his latest six-track project METAL PLATED TARANTULA, featuring Hazz, Wild Samson & Airklipz, via Nyark Music

After featuring heavily on last year’s label compilation ‘Striving For Greatness’ and numerous other Nyark releases, Trademark Blud drops his debut release for the label. Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the six-track project entitled ‘Metal Plated Tarantula’, a raw, gritty, hard-hitting display of Trademark Blud’s distinctive lyrical flow and delivery. His ability to portray life and its realities through his music can be heard here from start to finish. Trademark’s no newcomer to this Hip Hop game sharing stages with acts such as Talib Kweli, KRS-One, Dead Prez, Klashnekoff, and more, playing live in Holland and all over the UK from Cardiff to Edinburgh, London to Manchester. In 2024 he dropped his well-received fourteen-track debut album ‘Tetracyclics’ digitally, on CD and limited edition red double vinyl. Now in 2025, Trademark visits Nyark for a release we know you will enjoy… bitten by a metal-plated tarantula, Trademark is full of venom and poison, and here we get an audio account of his time on planet Nyark.

Kicking off with Ace Bimma’s produced ‘Ill Coffee From Bill Cosby’, this EP starts as it means to go on with intricate wordplay and rhyme schemes, flow switches, and killer bars before Thugs Bunny gives up a beat for the double-tempo bass-led ‘Melanated Dracula’. The third track ‘Violence Is Your Teacher’ sees this project’s first collaboration track as Nyark’s Hazz & Wild Samson join Trademark Blud for the Ace Bimma-produced banger. Next up is Midas Cash produced ‘Twisted Exhibitions’ a track that lets you into the unfiltered nature of Trademark Blud’s style and flow. Beatenaunt gives up the beat for the killer cut ‘Trap A Devil’s Soul’ which features London rapper Airklipz and the last track is the third and final beat from Ace Bimma who really helps to give this EP its sound. ‘The King Is Amused’ wraps this EP with style, as he uniquely captures the intensity and complexities of life. ‘Metal Plated Tarantula’ is a masterpiece and a true work of art.
