Following the success of The Psalmist Trilogy 1: Shabazz The Disciple & Focus – ‘S.T.D. Supply The Drought’, which dropped last Halloween, we now turn to The Psalmist Trilogy 2. This installment uncovers the unreleased and leftover tracks from the 2010 classic Hood Scriptures by Shabazz The Disciple and DJ Extremidiz.

This EP offers a gritty journey through the Red Hook Projects and the world of Shabazz. Shabazz has left a lasting mark on Hip Hop as a pioneer of the ‘Horrorcore’ style and an original member of the WU-affiliated group Sunz of Man. Known for addressing political, historical, and survival themes, his righteous anger and lyrical depth are perfectly complemented by DJ Extremidiz’s grimy, hard-hitting production.

The Psalmist Trilogy is inspired by the ancient psalmists who crafted timeless hymns that endured through the ages. Each volume pairs Shabazz with a different producer, bringing a unique sonic landscape to the trilogy.
