Catsmoke drops his new six-track SMOKE BREAK EP, featuring Wild Samson, Hazz, Airklipz, G.O.L.D, and Eyez Kold, via Nyark Music

After impressing on the recent collaborative project ‘360 Degrees’ with Hazz, Catsmoke returns to planet Nyark for a quality solo release, the six-track EP better known as ‘Smoke Break’. Known for his lyrical prowess, smooth flow, and introspective lyrics, Catsmoke brings his signature gritty, hard-hitting sound to the table. As one of the most exciting artists making music, he has already collaborated with U.S. Rap Royalty Roc Marciano and recently supported Rome Streetz on his Nottingham leg of his recent tour.

His style is unique, raw, and uncompromising, as he cleverly blends real-life narratives to create a diverse project for your musical palette. ‘Smoke Break’ features some quality production from the likes of Thugs Bunny, Midas Cash, Astro Blacksmith, and Matt Foster, who collectively create some warped samples, hazy atmospheres, and unconventional soundscapes. As soon as the first track hits, you know you are in for something big. The Thugs Bunny produced ‘Charlie’ kicks off the EP in truke. Next up ‘The Showdown’ which sees London rappers Airklipz and e gritty fashion setting the tone for what is about to come. Thugs Bunny gives up the goods again on ‘Pavement Education’, the second of three beats from him on the project and the EP’s first collaboration track, which sees Nyark regulars Wild Samson and Hazz go hard alongside CatsmoEyez Kold join forces to unleash lyrical terror on a killer beat from Midas Cash. The awesome jazz-tinged ‘Country’ produced by Astro Blacksmith follows before Hazz and G.O.L.D feature on ‘The Hunt’ produced by Matt Foster. This is then rounded up by the EP’s title track ‘Smoke Break’, which features Wild Samson on the hook over Thugs Bunny’s third beat of the EP.
