West Midlands-based emcee Hazz drops his new album CLIMB THE LADDER, featuring Airklipz, LATE, G.O.L.D & more, via Nyark Music

After steadily carving out his place in the UK underground scene, Hazz returns with his third album ‘Climb The Ladder’, a potent twelve-track release through Nyark Music. Fully produced by Wolverhampton’s own beatsmith and UK Hip Hop veteran TRICKSTA, best known for co-founding Wolftown Recordings, launching the influential UK Runnings mixtape series and event brand Beats & Bars, as well as working on projects with D-Block, Dipset, G-Unit, Three 6 Mafia, and more. ‘Climb The Ladder’ is a testament to TRICKSTA’s perseverance and Hazz’s street wisdom and artistic evolution. Together as they have crafted a long player for those who live and breathe authentic underground Hip Hop.

Hazz lyrically dives deep into the realities of the daily grind and artistic ambition, where every track is a vivid snapshot of the struggle, the triumph, and the relentless hustle while also giving up his trademark unfiltered lyricism and pure raw presence. TRICKSTA is known for rarely relying on big loops, instead opting to play original keys and chords, creating a dynamic sonic palette for Hazz’s uncompromising authenticity, superb wordplay, distinctive flow, and sharp street narratives. With guest appearances coming from Wild Samson, Airklipz, LATE, G.O.L.D, and turntablist DJ Amo, this album builds a cohesive soundscape anchored by raw lyricism and hard-hitting production that balances mood and momentum.

The opening intensity of ‘Mad’ and the reflective verses of ‘Speak Less Than You Know’ build you up perfectly for the first collaboration track ‘Take A Leaf’, which features London wordsmith G.O.L.D gives up the goods. Next up is the title track ‘Climb The Ladder’ where Hazz and TRICKSTA demonstrate a symbiotic chemistry once again before getting the album’s second collaboration ‘Where I Go’ which features Nyark General Wild Samson. Up next is ‘Reap What You Sow’, which is a track that showcases moments of solidarity and resilience before going into ‘Pressure Building’ that features UK Rap legend LATE and the talented scratch-master DJ Amo. A barrage of killer solo jams follow, the infectious ‘Nine Livez’ hits hard while ‘Gutterish’ and ‘No Face’ paint stark portraits of street realities with unflinching honesty. ‘Let Me Be’ is probably the most relatable track before getting into the album’s last collaborative track ‘All Day’ featuring Airklipz, which is a smokers’ anthem that completes the journey and injects dynamic energy and camaraderie into the mix.
