California-based Northstar, aka Black Knights Of The Northstar & Tha Dogg Pound (Kurupt & Daz Dillinger) team up on their new track BEE STINGS & BARK BITES, accompanied by a G-Funk Mix & animated visual

A long-awaited collaboration decades in the making, Northstar returns with a powerful new single titled ‘Bee Stings & Bark Bites’, pairing the duo with Tha Dogg Pound’s Kurupt and Daz Dillinger.

The track marks a historic reunion of two camps that once ran parallel paths in Hip Hop’s golden era.

Before their official Wu-Tang affiliation, Northstar was closely aligned with L.T. Hutton, former Head of A&R at Death Row Records and co-producer of the Tupac biopic ‘All Eyez on Me’. Had it not been for RZA signing The Black Knights of the Northstar collective, the group may have found a permanent home under the DPG/Death Row umbrella. This shared history adds a compelling layer of depth to this latest drop.

‘Bee Stings & Bark Bites’ is the second single from the forthcoming project ‘Northstar Forever’, a follow-up to their iconic debut ‘Northstar Presented by RZA’. The new single arrives in two distinctive flavors:

1. A Shaolin Mix, raw and gritty for the Wu disciples

2. A G-Funk Remix, drenched in West Coast soul and bounce

Both versions drop simultaneously and feature sharp verses from Christbearer, Meko The Pharaoh, and Tha Dogg Pound, trading bars with precision and purpose. Sonically, the single bridges coasts, eras, and legacies fused with mutual respect and undeniable chemistry.

An animated visual accompanies the release, bringing the single’s themes to life through a stylized interpretation of hip-hop nostalgia, cultural homage, and lyrical warfare.
