‘The Origin‘ marks the official launch of the long-awaited ‘Populayshun Clique’ EP, a powerful collaboration uniting legendary voices from Brooklyn’s most storied collective.

Presented by Kenyattah Black and produced by Shaka Amazulu The 7th, ‘Populayshun Clique’ showcases the talents of the Wu-Tang extended family, featuring timeless names such as Hell Razah (Sunz of Man), Timbo King (Royal Fam), Makeba Mooncycle, Buddha Monk (Brooklyn Zu), the original Maccabeez, Killah Priest, Daddy Rose, Black Rose Kartel, Popa Wu, and many more.

The debut single, ‘The Origin,’ pairs Kenyattah Black and Makeba Mooncycle, trading verses that channel ancestral codes and cosmic truth, a lyrical cipher exploring creation, unity, and the roots of Hip Hop consciousness within their population clique family tree. Accompanied by an animated visual, the track comes to life through surreal motion, symbolism, and spiritual imagery.
